Opening an account, step by step

Registration at 1xBet is short, and almost everything that decides whether you will be able to use the account happens after it. The account-opening data set is small: a date of birth, a full legal name, and a permanent home address (Terms of Service, section 30).

The territory clause understates the position

The forbidden list in the rules is narrower than the real-world map. 1xbet.com sits on Italy's blocking list under article 102 of D.L. 104/2020 (blocklist document dated 10 October 2023), Colombia's Coljuegos included 1xBet-associated sites in a block covering 409 websites in February 2025 (Mundovideo), Sri Lanka's new regulator blocked the domain on 6 August 2026 alongside 23 other unlicensed sites (Gaming Intelligence), and the brand has been illegal in Ukraine since its local licensee's licence was cancelled (iGaming Business).

None of those countries appears in clause 2.5. Opening an account from a jurisdiction where the site is blocked is not something the terms will warn you about at the form.

What blocks completion, and what does not

Nothing in the published flow requires documents before the account exists. Identity checking is deferred: 1xBet states that before a first withdrawal, whether or not bonus money was used, the customer must complete the process by sending identification documents (India promo page).

That sequencing is the single most important thing to know at sign-up, because it means an account can be funded, used and stuck long before anyone checks whether the name on it matches the name on the payment instrument.

For the rest of the estate, there is no published record of who holds the account you are about to open.
